National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) Job Recruitment 2024/2025

The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (formerly National Action Committee on AIDS) was established in February 2000 to coordinate the various activities of HIV / AIDS in the country. The National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA) is recruiting for the Global Fund Projects, namely the Resilient and Sustainable Systems for Health (RSSH)/COVID-19 Response Mechanism (C19RM) and HIV projects.

Contract.

Duration:

36 months but renewable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance and continued funding for the position.

Job Summary

• He/she ensures the project schedule      are met on time.
• He /she is responsible for providing      leadership (technical and                   managerial) to the GF Projects and   the   Project management unit to   ensure that project deliverables are   met in a timely manner and that they   are of desired quality.
• He/she will maintain good working       relationships with the relevant   Government institutions and its   officials.
• He /she provides technical and   managerial oversight of the National   Agency for the Control of AIDS   (NACA)  Global Fund projects.
• He/she recommends project   activities  and payment for approval   to the DG NACA and other NACA units.
• He/she manages programme budgets   and ensuring proper financial   management and accountability.
• He/she reviews and manage program   risks by maintaining a risk log with   mitigation measures to address the   risks.

Requirements

To be eligible for the job, interested applicants need to meet up with the following criteria:
• Only Nigerians are eligible.
• Interested persons should be       between the ages of 20 – 35.
• Possession of National ID,   International Passport, Driver’s   License or Voters card is necessary.
• Having a B.Sc or Master’s Degree   obtained from an accredited Tertiary   Institution in any relevant discipline.
• It is important to have a minimum   of  5 Credits in   SSCE/GCE/NABTEB/NECO including
Mathematics and English.
• Applicants must have good   communication skills.
